Keeping a weed-free landscape is an important part of having a healthy yard. Weeds rob nutrients from the landscape, preventing plants from reaching their full potential. Weeds also attract and harbor insects that can have a damaging effect on plants. Something as simple as a weed can snowball and cause many problems.
We recommend applying Preen every 10-12 weeks to help suppress weeds from germinating. Preen creates a barrier that prevents new weeds from sprouting up, allowing your landscape plants to have the advantage over weeds. When plants are dry, sprinkle Preen on soil surfaces to create a weed barrier in the top layer of your soil. Once the Preen has been applied make sure to water it in. Preen can also be used on top of mulch.
